🔥 What’s Hot in AI News:

Open AI CEO Sam Altman asks users not to trust ChatGpt much

OpenAI CEO Sam Altman recently said that people should not trust ChatGPT too much, even though it’s a powerful tool. He explained that ChatGPT can sometimes make mistakes or give answers that sound right but are actually wrong, a problem known as "hallucination." Altman was surprised by how many people rely heavily on the AI for serious things like health, legal, or parenting advice. He reminded users that ChatGPT is still just a tool to assist with ideas or research—not something to fully depend on without checking the facts. It’s important to use it carefully and always verify important information from trusted sources.

No camera, just a prompt: South Korean AI video creators are taking over social media

In South Korea, a growing number of people are creating realistic videos using AI tools like Veo and Sora—without using any cameras or filming. All they do is type a short prompt, and the AI turns it into a video. These videos often show creative and eye-catching scenes like people eating, talking animals, or even moments from history. Many of these AI-generated videos have become popular on platforms like TikTok and Instagram. This new way of creating content allows anyone, even without video skills or equipment, to become a content creator. However, it also brings concerns about fake videos, deepfakes, and the spread of misinformation. To address this, South Korea has passed a new law that requires AI-made videos to be clearly labeled, so viewers can tell they’re not real.

Grammarly wants to become an ‘AI productivity platform’

Grammarly plans to buy the popular email app Superhuman to strengthen its AI tools for email writing. Since many people already use Grammarly to improve their emails, owning an email app makes sense. But Grammarly has bigger goals—it wants to become a platform with many smart AI helpers, or "agents," that assist with different tasks like sales, support, and marketing. The idea is to let users work with several AI agents at once to get things done faster. Grammarly also bought the productivity company Coda last year, showing it’s serious about expanding beyond just writing help.

X is testing a new program where AI chatbots help write Community Notes

X (formerly Twitter) is starting to test a new feature that allows AI chatbots to help write Community Notes — fact-check-style comments that add context to misleading or unclear posts. These notes are usually written by volunteers and only appear when people from different viewpoints agree they’re helpful. Now, X’s own AI (Grok) and other AI tools connected through APIs will be able to suggest notes too. But these AI-generated notes must go through the same vetting process as human ones. While this could speed things up, there are concerns: AI sometimes makes up false details (called “hallucinations”), and too many AI notes might overwhelm the human reviewers who approve them. X says the goal is for AI and humans to work together — not for AI to tell people what to believe, but to help people understand things more clearly.
